I AM HOPE

The aim of the I Am Hope Foundation is to normalise conversations around mental health and forever change how New Zealanders think, act, and feel about mental wellbeing and suicide. Their core goal is positive societal attitudinal change.

I Am Hope collaborates seamlessly with mental health professionals, service providers, astute business leaders, and communities to reverse the concerning rise in suicide and depressive illness through positive social change initiatives. Nationally recognised, I Am Hope launched the impactful Gumboot Friday initiative, offering free counselling to young Kiwis in need and providing a vital platform for young people to connect with counsellors and therapists.

There is a clear alignment between our two Foundations, both prioritising the health, wellbeing, and education of our children.

As Chloe Wright eloquently wrote in 2019 to I Am Hope, “We are thrilled to be part of your journey. We are all moving in the same direction to bring health and fulfilment of potential to the many New Zealanders we can reach.”
